1. Who we are

Savr is a UK-based travel comparison and trip planning application operated by APP-VENTURE-UK LTD.

Savr helps users search, compare and plan trips across travel categories such as flights, trains, coaches, taxis, car hire, accommodation, travel insurance and travel updates.

Savr is free to use. Users can search and compare trips without creating an account. An account is only required when a user chooses to save trips, save travel options, track prices, manage alerts or access account features.

2. What data we collect

We may collect the following personal data:

  • Email address
  • Name, if provided
  • Account login details
  • Authentication and security information
  • Travel preferences and saved settings
  • Saved trips, saved searches and saved travel options
  • Travel alert preferences
  • Basic usage information, such as pages visited and actions taken

Passwords are not stored in plain text. Account passwords are stored using secure hashing.

Savr does not collect online banking login details, card details, passport numbers or payment information.

3. Travel search and trip data

When you use Savr to search or plan a trip, we may process travel search information such as:

  • Departure location
  • Destination
  • Travel dates and times
  • Return dates and times
  • Number of travellers
  • Travel preferences, such as cheapest, fastest or best value
  • Selected travel categories, such as flights, trains or accommodation
  • Saved trip details, if you choose to save a trip

If you do not create an account, your search may still be processed to provide results, but it will not be saved to an account unless you choose to sign up or log in and save it.

  • Create and manage your Savr account
  • Allow you to search and compare travel options
  • Save trips, routes, accommodation options and travel alerts
  • Show travel options and relevant provider links
  • Provide trip planning features and downloadable trip information
  • Remember your travel preferences and settings
  • Improve the reliability, security and performance of Savr
  • Prevent misuse, fraud or unauthorised access
  • Respond to support, privacy or account requests

We do not use your personal data for credit scoring, lending decisions or banking analysis.

6. Third-party travel providers

Savr helps users compare travel options and may provide links to third-party travel providers, booking platforms, insurers, accommodation providers, transport operators and affiliate partners.

When you click a provider link or continue to a third-party website, that provider may collect and process your data under its own privacy policy and terms.

Savr does not control third-party provider websites, prices, availability, booking terms, cancellation rules, baggage rules, insurance terms or travel conditions.

7. Affiliate links and commission

Savr may include affiliate links or tracked provider links. If you click one of these links or complete a booking with a third-party provider, Savr may earn a commission.

This does not affect the price you pay to use Savr. Savr remains free for users.

We may record basic click information for affiliate tracking, reporting, fraud prevention and service improvement. This may include the provider clicked, the time of the click, the page or trip related to the click and basic technical information.

8. Cookies and local storage

Savr may use cookies, browser storage and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, support security features and improve the service.

Examples include:

  • Authentication cookies or tokens
  • Saved login or trusted device preferences
  • Travel settings stored in your browser
  • Basic analytics or performance information

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of Savr may not work correctly if essential cookies or storage are disabled.
